a dream of release

Hello everyone I just joined this forum, its my first time viewing this website and i must say i do feel very much at home here. I would like to share a dream i had 3 nights ago which felt very powerful, and im open to insights, interpretations, as im not sure exactly what it means: Im in a bright and shiney red mercedes (the old style) and my godmother is driving around a park. She notices a homeless man sitting under a tree, dressed in some sort of grey sheets (roman style), hes scruffy and gritty, and she opens her car window and waves and says hello to him (something which surprised me in the dream, shes an elder lady, and i would expect her to close her window and look away.) After that, we were outside the car, and i looked at the steering wheel which had a massive gold sort of sculpture sticking out of the middle. Then, as we were standing there next to the beaming red old fashioned car, she took a little remote control pointed it at my head and was looking at the readings on it, she moved it from my head over my face and down to my stomach. As it was pointing at my stomach it started to beep red and a number 1 was indicated on the little device, at that point i felt as if she was releasing something very very heavy and perhaps painful from inside me (like a kind of exorcism) and I began to float, and float, and float! it felt like 3 times floating. after that I awoke, feeling refreshed
I phoned her later that day (havent spoken to her for a couple years, and she was very happy to hear from me, i just told her she was driving a red merc in my dream and she sounded content with that!) But the release and the floating are what affected me the most.

Im a lucid dreamer, i dream almost every night, and most of the times my dreams are far more interesting than everyday life, but this one really hit the spot! I would be happy to hear any comments or interpretations, thanks again for this forum, its a great place for sharing!

So happy to hear that you feel at home here. I'm sure once you meet fellow members that feeling will be more intense. It always is for me as the energy is so amazing.

As I was reading your dream, the meaning behind it almost immediately came to me. My intuition felt very strong so I pulled an Angel Card and it was what I had expected to see, The Red Door. (Root Chakra)

Your grandmother was pointing with this instrument at your head and stomach for she was opening your mind to your spirit to remind you that we are all ONE in Spirit as is this homeless man. She was helping you to release your fear. The number 1 and the color red indicate your Root Chakra where fear emanates if we let it. She was helping you to clear your root chakra and release this fear. As you stated, you would have expected your grandmother to shy away from this experience. It may possibly be her spirit telling you not to fear as you believe she would.

Dear Anne,
Thanks so much for such a quick reply, your interpretation makes sence to me since im at a point in my life where im at crossroads trying to decide which road to take, and it can be a scary place. truth is ive been feeling quite depressed lately because of some not so fruitful decisions ive taken these past 5 years (which have led me back to my parents house with not much to look forward to) dont get me wrong, i am very thankful for a warm bed and meal and parents that open their doors to me, im just upset with my choices. the dream did shake me, and for that im grateful. I was wondering if there is something I can do to get some direction as to which path to take, my dreams are usually very vivid and i have lots of flashes and visions which i see in real life, in fact im more alive on the astral plane than in this world, but theres nothing really substantial that means something on the physical plane

You are welcome Amethyst. I know what you mean about dreams/visions and feeling more connected to the astral place. I believe there are many of us here on the forum that feel similar. Connect with your Angels, talk to them and pay attention to your dreams and visions. Keep a journal if you are not already.  Its possible after reading a bit more that this dream below was about not fearing where you are now in life, having to live with your family. We all go through transitions in life, this is your time of change. I run a compassion clinic within the forum if you ever wish to chat. I listen and offer advice if wanted and try to help with releasing fear and worry. Just let me know if you are interested and we can set a date and time. You are on the right path, you just have to listen to your inner self to know what direction to take. Think and feel positive and go with that positive energy. If one direction does not feel right to your inner self, then its probably a sign not to take it. It may be telling you to let go and let the Universe take you where you are meant to go. Just listen and feel it. Release the fear and worry.

I was also struck with a thought reading the dream - remember, Jesus was homeless but was never without a home.  He did not have worldly possessions but he possessed the world.  Imagine how someone would look after walking for 3 years.  you already possess all you need. 

I definitely pick up the first chakra and grounding. 

anyway, that's what i got.
