Hello fellow seekers of the light ;
Last night (more likely this morning as part of the new years), i had a dream that was very vivid.  There were some sports teams that were congreting on a hillside. At the bottom of the hill was a road and there were busses lined up and each team was to get on their bus as the competitions were over.  However, there was no organization whatsoever; teams were not getting on their bus and the busses were getting stacked up.  some people were getting on the wrong bus; just an overall mess .  So, i stepped up to provide some organization (which was resisted by most of the people at the time it started, but they started to accept the process).  I was getting teams on the first busses so the later busses could pull up.  And then i started to climb the hill to get the teams to start to move the loading area.  as i moved up the hill and over it, more teams were showing up and more and more and more.  Everywhere i turned, there were more teams and i was able to "control" the situation less and less.  

Well, one team (a football team in red and white uniforms) had their bus drive up below the next hill and were loading from there.  This made me very angry because we were loading at the bottom of the first hill .  But as i thought about it, did it make more sense to bring the busses to the teams or the teams to the busses?  :

But i remember the frustration with at first, no organization or structure, and then will everyone not following the structure I had set up. And then i remember a phrase i had heard "who died and left me the general manager of the universe?" .  i think the dream was a message to me that i do not have to have every situation in life under "control" as i have defined it.  i am not in charge of the world. Each of us has our own free will and must be allowed to express that will.  i am not here to ensure every team gets on the bus at the time i think they should.  i am here to get myself on my bus when it is the right time for me to do so.  And, contrary to what my ego thinks, i am not the general manager of the universe.  My desire for this year is to release the need to do so and the appreciate the free will choices that others make.

Hiya Richard and what a fabulous dream!One thing that really jumped out at me, was the team you noticed with the red and white uniform, now this is very significant, as those 2 colours together denote balance, and it is interesting to note how your thinking changed to a more reasonable and "balanced" view of the whole situation after you saw them. I have to say congratulations !!!! That whole dream you had just reeks of integration  of the self and, included the balance needed to achieve it, which some of us ( if not most ) have a hard enough time doing while we are awake, and there you go, doing it all in your sleep!!! How wonderful for you!! Woooohoooo!!!
