General Questions for anyone to answer...

I keep meaning to ask these questions...

1.) Anyone hear a voice, that wakes you, deep in the night?
2.) Anyone smell strong odors deep in the night?

I am speaking of hearing a distinct voice - calling you.  I have heard this a few times recently.  Last night I heard a man's voice.  It woke me at 12:38 AM.

I smelled the strong odor of men's cologne one night, and cigar smoke another.

Anyone have these experiences?

YES! to both of you questions,
the  distant voice calling is very like whispering do you think, and yes the scent i get is a pungent flowal smell,
i do believe with my own experiences that they are waking us with this call its no coincidence when we wake, to me the strong odour of cologne and cigar scent is from spirit,i could be wrong but ask yourself who you knew that had past reminds you of this..did you know someone who smoked cigars and the certain scent from him...he is making hes presence known to you through this way..he obviously doesnt want to alarm you with seeing him,he is reminding you that he watches over you or is delivering to you that you soon will be recieving news,
i would love to hear more on others opinion on this..its very interesting!!

Wow, thank you for that reply!  Very good observations. 

I have to say I think you are right.  The men's cologne would be my uncle - he always wore this very loud smelling cologne.  We used to kid him about it!  It was called "One Man Show" and it was awful!

Not sure about the cigar smoke.  Could be my grandfather on my mom's side.

This afternoon I actually saw something move through the living room.   It was white and I could not make it out.  The older child here (he is 14) insists he has seen this as well.

Hi Kelly,

Yes to both here also. I have had my guide wake me up loudly saying my name. I was between meditation and falling asleep and heard her tell me a name. Then suddenly she shouted my name and I woke instantly. I knew right away that it was her and she was letting me know that the name she had said before mine, was hers. Her voice was so beautiful and unfamiliar but a feeling within me knew it was my spirit guide.

Another incident was years ago, I was sleeping and I heard my name being called from another room. When I got up in the morning I asked my B/F if it was him, knowing it wasn't for it was a womans voice. Later I found out that a friend of mine was in distress as her B/F was abusing her. We had been very close over the years and when I talked to her shortly after, I told her of this and that it sounded like her. We hadnt talked in sometime. She told me of her distress and what had happened. She had been thinking of me and how we had taken care of each other yrs before. It was like she was calling me for help.

I will also smell things that are familiar to my grandmother, like bread baking, roses, etc.

Have you seen the area for Dream Journals? I suggest creating one for yourself, if not on here, create one at home. I find that we tend to forget things or when we do not recognize someone r something in our dreams, it helps if we keep track of them and look back. The answers eventually come to us. Also, it helps you to keep track of signs that you get for future dreams.
