Hello everyone,
I have read some about 2012 and Dyan has written some about it in this forum.  I am really interested in this topic and I was wondering if Dyan or Tamara or both could elaborate on what is going to happen in 2012 as well as presenting ideas for how we can best be ready.  It is only 4 years away and I would like to do what I can now to take part in the process.

Hi Alann:
Basically, the Mayans kept a calendar and that was based partly on astronomy and partly on their knowledge of astrology as well. It is important to note that (1) this is not a date for an apocolypse or the end of the world. (2) this is not a rapture. What will happen in 2012 is that the sun will move into a position that is in the very center of the solar system. And the planets will shift to accomodate that apparently. It's a shift. Things that were previously in the darkness will come to light.

Now, actually no one is really sure as to why the Mayans stopped right there in 2012. Either they disappeared before they could write more, or they were instructed not to write more, or they just couldn't see anything beyond that. So, here we are giving a lot of power away to this, you see? It really is up to us to co-create, as I said in my earlier post about psychic readings. We have the power to shape our futures and that future begins by being willing and able to shape the "now." That's the current lesson.

What I see for 2012 is simply a shift. That shift is happening right now at a root level. It has a great deal to do with the Law of Attraction really. It has a great deal to us being willing to become empowered and learning to co-create, rather than using the LOA as some means to get what we want, want, want. This is like little children. We are being challenged right now to grow up. And I believe that 2012 is a turning point. So, the sooner we learn this, the better.

So, what we can do to be ready is to leave the things of childhood behind. Gather your courage, and just live your lives in accordance with your purpose. Leave your fears, get out of entitlement, understand the illusion, learn to co-create rather than demand. This all helps shift the grid, helps build the foundation, so that a strong "house" can be built. It's like a collective consciousness lesson.  Just as LOA has filtered in here into mass consciousness, you can begin to see the power of the collective, yes? I hope that explains things a little bit. We can do it! :-)

Hi Dyan,
It's alright about the name.  Sometimes our brains work faster than our fingers type!  Thanks for the info on 2012.  I read an interesting book about how the earth's kundalini energy just recently moved from the Himalayas to the Andes in Peru.  The book was called Beyond 2012, Serpent of the Light.  Anyway, I have heard some very different ideas about what 2012 will bring, as I am sure many have.  I had a pretty hard time believing that the world was just going to end then.

It's alright about the name.  Sometimes our brains work faster than our fingers type!  Thanks for the info on 2012.  I read an interesting book about how the earth's kundalini energy just recently moved from the Himalayas to the Andes in Peru.  The book was called Beyond 2012, Serpent of the Light.  Anyway, I have heard some very different ideas about what 2012 will bring, as I am sure many have.  I had a pretty hard time believing that the world was just going to end then.

I'm glad you brought this up, Alanna. You see, we live on this earth, we sometimes refer to it as "Mother earth," and yet we tromp all over it sometimes in complete disrespect. We forget how much it really give us. Everything is alive. The earth is alive. The earth has chakras too, energy centers, energy fields, just like we do. The earth has laylines, which form an energy grid. This is similar to what we call "meridians" in humans. When we begin to not take for granted our physical vehicles, when we begin not to take for granted this planet and everything on it, we begin to step more into our power. When we begin to see how everything is connected, and begin to see the wonder in that, is when we begin to remember how to co-create. Then we let go of fear....and such amazing things can happen. So, in 2012 we will have this planetary, galactic shift in energy, which basically just shifts the way energy flows to the earth. And if we've prepared our physical bodies for this, then the flow will be just completely amazing. It's like anything else that grows...a child doesn't wake up one day and find that it is a teenager. These things happen gradually, so as not to be terrifying. This is the phase we are in right now. We are growing up. The earth is growing up. The galaxy is growing up. And we get to choose how we are going to live as adults. It really is rather exciting.

LOL ... I think a lot of people will be "disappointed" when the "great" shift of 2012 occurs. People might even hold their breath and then think "Is that it?!" Expectation seems to run so high ... we can co-create some beautiful rainbows and such but I think people are expecting this shift to literally knock their sicks off. We have large shifts all the time. Granted this might be felt more strongly but not to the degree so many are expecting. A lot of the expectation is rooted in fear still. Remember the year 2000 when everyone was expecting a shift of mass proportions to knock all computers off the grid? It didn't happen and everyone was still wearing their socks. LOL

LOL! And hopefully, they are clean socks. LOL! I agree! I just wrote a little booklet on Ascension. It comes free as an immediate download with a pre-order of my new CD "Eight" with is "music for ascension." We are in the process of the "shift" now. The veil has been thinning for quite some time now. This is why so many are awakening to their intuition and to who they really are. The sun in 2012 will shift to the center of our galaxy and basically that will mean that many things will be revealed and "come out into the light." I wrote a song about it on "Eight." It's called "A Different Kind of Love." Ascension is nothing to be afraid of. It isn't "death." It's life.

Hi All! Ann, you put this beautifully. I don't think I could add much more! As we are beginning to feel this energy now, old patterns and old ways of doing things just no longer fit. That's part of what's causing the discomfort. It's like children needing new clothes because they've outgrown the old. What strikes me as I write this is: When's the last time you heard a 10 year old child asking where their baby clothes are and if they can carry them around with them everywhere they go or try to fit into them again? That's kind of exactly where we are.

I get asked a lot about politics lately, too. It's not my forte, so I try to stay away from the subject, really. But a few things have come to mind over the last few days. It's sad to me that not just in politics, but in other areas, we bring these "leaders" to great heights only to then subsequently rip them to shreds. What is it in human nature that feels the need to do this? If we think about it I believe we can reduce this to the "ego." It's about fear, it's about validation, and probably some other things as well, but I do believe it boils down to some ego "I" centered point of view and that is what we need to come off of as we continue to grow and move toward shift and change.

And, I was telling someone yesterday in an intereview, that in order to effect change we need to begin to effect change on an individual level first. Don't think that this doesn't have great import, because it absolutely does. It's another universal law that is the "Ripple Effect."

We aren't living alone in our little bubbles, even if we think we are. We just aren't. We are all connected. Everything we do even on a teeny tiny minute level, has an effect on others. When we meditate, this energy travels outward in a ripple. It's the same when we pray. It's the same when we're feeling anything...love, anger, whatever emotion. These emotions go up and out, just like everything else. And they affect us all on an energetic level.

So, it makes me sad to see the media in general ripping up like animals things that have possibility of shining out the light. It hurts us all.
