New Age recording artist and psychic Dyan Garris announces the release of her cookbook, Voice of the Angels Cookbook - Talk To Your Food!  - Intuitive Cooking.

This is not just an ordinary cookbook. It is an adventure in exploration and opening of one's creative centers.

The book comes with a warning: This is real food! And it is. A variety of original recipes are included, from sinfully rich cheesecake and "Love Bars," to "Healing Soup," several interesting and easy fish recipes, hearty stews, simple, yet satisfying skillet suppers, which incorporate enticing blends of colors and flavors. The author's Greek heritage shines through in such recipes as "Baklava Roll-Ups" and "Moussaka."

The main idea of this cookbook is to enhance the culinary experience and raise it to a more spiritual level. Garris wants readers to feel what they cook and, on some level, communicate with their food. "Cooking should be fun and inventive not intimidating, with the end result being a creative, interactive exchange rather than a mundane task," she says.

Garris writes an inspirational Daily Channeled Message, which posts every day on her website. The cookbook includes twelve food-related channeled messages, such as, "Layers," "The Party," "The Secret Recipe of Life," "Ode to Popcorn," and numerous "Intuitively Speaking" paragraphs, which explain how to prepare the recipe using your own unique creativity.

Garris learned to cook from her paternal grandmother. "She didn't measure anything! So, I would ask her,  "How much?" and she would reply, "Some." Garris realized that when it came to cooking, her grandmother just followed her own inner guidance and gave complete concentration to what she was creating. This fueled Garris' curiosity about food preparation.

Her family's restaurateur background encouraged Garris to continue her culinary adventure by allowing her to visit and eventually work in their various establishments, leading to the creation of her own inventive dishes that became local and family favorites.
